Technical Overview for Web and IT Teams

ARC sits alongside your existing website. It does not touch your CMS, your infrastructure, or your web team.

Marketing owns and operates ARC day to day. Hushly handles the full migration. Your team's involvement ends after a single configuration step.

Deployment

Two deployment options. You decide after migration.

Hushly migrates your existing resource center content into ARC. Once migration is complete, you choose how ARC is deployed. In both cases, Hushly handles all URL redirects from the original resource center to the new ARC URLs.

Option 1

Subfolder

Deployed as a subfolder. Example: yoursite.com/resources. Requires a reverse proxy configuration. Hushly provides the configuration details. One-time setup, no ongoing changes. No CMS changes.

Option 2

Subdomain

Deployed as a subdomain. Example: resources.yoursite.com. Requires a CNAME record added to your DNS. Single entry, typically live within an hour. No ongoing changes.

Navigation

ARC looks and feels like your website. Always.

Your web team creates one page with just the header, footer, and navigation elements and a blank body. ARC is configured with that URL and pulls your branding in real time.

Looks and feels like your website

ARC pulls your branding in real time from a single URL your web team provides. It looks and feels like a native part of your site to every visitor.

Always in sync

Any time your website navigation changes, ARC automatically reflects it. No additional work required from your web team after the initial setup.

Content Ingestion

How content gets into ARC.

ARC supports multiple content ingestion models. Your existing CMS and content workflows stay intact. No integration project. No IT involvement.

Documents

Specify the URL of each asset. ARC fetches content directly from that URL. PDFs, whitepapers, ebooks. Nothing moves. No CMS changes.

Videos

Native API integrations with Wistia, Vidyard, Vimeo, and others. Metadata and transcripts pulled automatically.

Blog Posts

Imported via RSS feed. Any blog platform that publishes an RSS feed works automatically. No configuration required.

Mini DAM

Content stored directly in ARC. ARC becomes the single place marketing content lives and is managed.

Migration

Three steps. Your team is involved in one of them.

Hushly's implementation team handles the full migration. Web team involvement is limited to a single deployment decision.

Step 01

Hushly migrates your content

Our implementation team handles everything. You provide access to your existing resource center and we take it from there.

Step 02

You decide deployment

Subfolder or subdomain. Hushly handles all URL redirects. No duplicate content. No broken links. No disruption to SEO.

Step 03

Marketing takes over

ARC is live. Marketing owns and operates it day to day. Web team involvement from this point is minimal.
